Hey Sister Asteri!! Why aren’t you replying to my messages??
I already asked the other lainedolls, but I’d like to play this game with my bff.
OK so let’s pretend we’re in some kind of life-or-death tournament.
The catch is: we can summon any guardian from the thirteen knights of the Aeon-guard to fight for us. This isn’t just boring role play.
We’re actually gonna run an engram replay simulation on it! Since the AEON recollection project is still ongoing, we don’t have the full stats of each knight, but we have a fair approximation of their feats and aptitudes based on aggregated sources.
I’ve decided to call this event the Aeon-Void War! (AVW for short) So here’s the rules. We will generate a war simulation using the Remembrance Cascader unit in the Library, as with any sanctioned recollection procedure.
The AVW event will last for 24 ship-cycles. Last lainedoll to be eliminated wins. A guardian will automatically be forfeited when their principal loses. There would be at most 12 players represented by the 12 knights. Why only 12 knights?
Knight Sartoria is banned, of course! No one can pick her. Peacebringer would just break the game. Sister Valkyrie got dibs on Knight Wolfwood. Even without those fancy swords, she thinks Wolfy will rip everyone in half with his huge bear claws (not a typo).
They say he eats void beasts for breakfast. Still, I feel like he’d devour his own master if he got hungry.
What about the Sword Saintess Knight Oberon? Sister Ell picked her, but I have my doubts. Sure, Oberon is second to Sartoria in terms of raw skill, but I don’t think she has the same tenacity as the other knights. Oathkeeper is also a much weaker relic than Peacebringer, since it’s defense focused.
Out of the remaining knights, Pyra Lazuli is probably the third most well-rounded option. I don’t even need to explain that they’re called the Last Vanguard for a reason.
As for the other knights, pick your poison. Knight Servantin? I don’t care for that void relic they use, the one called the FATELESS. Decent, but not elegant.
Knight Katafra? Powerful, but a so-called knight of the Aeon Guard that uses void magic? Dishonorable.
Knight Roy Fang? Strong option too, but as much as I love Sister Reine, the rest of the Fang family are functional psychopaths, and her great uncle is not an exception. Just don’t tell Reine I said that.
I almost considered a wildcard option too. Rumor has it that Father Zaleri used to be an AEON Knight with a different alias. But the rules won’t allow her to call in an orbital bombardment from the Falzchen. As amusing as that is, that’s just cheating.
After thinking it through, I’d probably pick Knight Amaya Nightwind, the Executrix Nightwind. She’s easily the deadliest assassin among them. She even has two void relics: the Avarice Eye and the Zero Wing.

Alright, fine. I’ll admit it. I just want to live out my fantasy of being carried by Knight Amaya across the sea of stars of the Void Ocean. But really, who wouldn’t want to her glorious wings look up close?**
There’s other knights too that I didn’t mention, but don’t bother.
They’re really no match against Amaya. Anyways, we’re totally gonna run the AVW simulation in the Recollection Hall. Sister Valkyrie will help me setup the Remembrance Cascader Unit there.
Don’t worry, this event is fully sanctioned by Father Zaleri since I told her I’m helping Sister Ell with her AEON recollection project. As a wise philosopher once said, what better way to understand history better than repeating it? Just thinking of the blood of heroines being shed makes my maiden’s heart gush with absolute excitement. GUH.
