Wolfwood was a Knight of the Aeonguard. His pseudonym appears to have been based on the Wolfood of Inamorata, an artificial forest within the mining colony.
Because of the information purge enacted by the Albirean Government, not much historical information is known about Wolfwood.
According to Sister Basilika in Recollector Log No. 13 - Effigy of a Rotten Girl, Wolfwood used their enormous claws in combat.
