As specialized combat dolls, Arbiter Dolls are outfitted with a special void-leyline regulation engines which can temporarily attenuate the destructive effects of Entropic Degeneration Syndrome, which allow them to wield Void Artefacts.
However, the attenuation mechanism of Arbiter-class engines merely re-distributes residual void energy emanating from the Void Artefacts, rerouting entropic decay away from the doll core into the entire body. As a pertinent side-effect, Arbiter-class dolls have a drastically shortened operational lifespan.
