Based on the official Albirean Epitaph Record (AER), Dr. Aubrei Qinxi was the chief expert on the Void Leylines, and had multiple published papers on the Voidfall Theorem and the Last Equation.

Apart from her academic record, specific details about Dr. Qinxi’s civil life are sparse.
(Ell’s notes (in handwritten notes): The Albirean record is controversial for being state published and heavily biased. You will bode well if you only trust it at a surface level. From other, more legitimate sources, Dr. Qinxi’s reputation does precede her, but there are verifiable reports of her academic peers criticizing her for being a “starfish”, which is an amusing euphemism for being highly theoretical without field experience. Kinda ironic how she eventually turned out. By the way, a STARFISH, incase you didn’t know, is a “theoretical” Void Beasts only found in furthest reaches of Sector XVII, near the fire-moon Inamorata. It feeds on dying stars, but only theoretically.)
- During the 237th Cycle of the Void Sun, Dr. Aubrei Qinxi joined as one of the project lead architects behind Project I.N.A.R.I.S. (Integrated Neural Atmospheric Regulation Intervention System), spearheaded by Dr. Sho-ren Sartoria.
(Ell’s notes: And so begins the doomed romance of the crestfallen heroines.)
- During the 242nd Cycle, Dr. Qinxi joined the AEON-GUARD (Anti-Entropy Operational Network Guardian Unit) established by Dr. Sartoria, meant to combat the resurgence of the Entropy Incident.
Henceforth, Dr. Qinxi adopted the call-sign Knight Oberon.
(*Ell’s notes: Well, that was the Albirean government’s official press release, at least. We all know what those AEON-GUARD maniacs actually did. Quite unfortunate.)
During the 251st cycle, the Albirean state officials released a record of Dr. Qinxi’s demise. The official cause of death is EDS (Entropic Degeneration Syndrome).
(Ell’s notes: Nothing but a boldfaced lie, but the commoners wouldn’t know better.)
B. RECOLLECTION STATUS ENTRY # 13:
- Prognosis: Subject exhibits high recollection instability, despite no clear degradation in mental faculties. Oberon does not outright resist memory reintegration, but appears prone to multiple blindspots (ie. any mention of Knight Sartoria).
This erratic behavior is consistent across all recorded memory reset cycles. Subject repeatedly proclaims the phrase “Forgive me, Sartoria”, or variants thereof, before terminating the Lazarus Protocol abruptly, forcing a memory cycle restart.

(ELL’S FOOTNOTES: I have an idea for the next reintegration simulation. I’ll have to ask Sister Valkyrie for help for some machinist work on OBERON’s recollected body. I’ve been reading about published research material regarding the Two-Body Theory, and suspect that Oberon’s memory reintegration is being hindered by some form of bio-mechanical dysphoria.)
Perhaps reconstructing Oberon’s physical body closer to her actual state and prior to the moment of her death might help with memory stability? I found a classified published visual photograph of OBERON released by the Albirean state officials that I can use as reference for the simulation. This was probably introduced when the government sanctioned a sector-wide manhunt for Dr. Qinxi during the War of the Thornless Roses. That is cycle 248, I believe. How nostalgic, when we were younger and better. I will continue my memory reintegration serial experiments using the Lazarus Protocol. I think her mind can still withstand it. I have high hopes for Dr. Qinxi’s reintegration.
